“Enough is enough! How many more people should die before something is done? How many more attacks? How many more? We cannot continue like this,” he wrote, demanding justice, protection, and real security reforms to prevent further tragedies.
Fellow gospel singer Mercy Chinwo also reacted to the incident, describing the attack as “evil, unacceptable, and heartbreaking.” In her statement, she emphasised that no one should fear for their life while worshipping in the house of God.
“I stand with every family and church affected, and I pray for God’s comfort and healing,” she wrote. “But let it be known: the Church of Jesus Christ cannot be intimidated. Violence will not silence our worship. Darkness will not overcome His light.” She ended her message with Psalm 34:18, offering spiritual encouragement to grieving families.
The tragic incident has sparked nationwide outrage, with citizens, religious groups, and public figures calling for urgent intervention from security agencies.
As investigations continue, both artists urged authorities to prioritize the safety of worshippers and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
