Fisayo Michael Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, has opened up on how their relationship began, amid rumours surrounding the collapse of their marriage.
The MC and hype man made the revelation on Saturday via his Instagram story, while reacting to claims that Anita allegedly fed and financially supported him during their marriage.
New Daily Prime recalls that Anita Joseph announced the end of their five-year marriage on December 23, 2025, through a post shared on Instagram.

Her announcement was followed by widespread speculation online, with some social media users alleging that the actress was responsible for funding MC Fish throughout their union.
Responding to what he described as false and disrespectful rumours, MC Fish dismissed the claims and clarified that he was not the one who initiated their relationship.
According to him, Anita Joseph was the one who approached him while he was working.
“I dey where I dey hype when dem come toast me. Fine, marriage no work again, next thing woman dey feed me,” he wrote.
The entertainer further challenged his estranged wife to openly confirm the allegation that she was feeding him if it were true, insisting that the narrative being pushed online was unfair and misleading.
MC Fish’s reaction has added a new twist to the public conversation surrounding the high-profile breakup, which has continued to generate reactions across social media platforms.
