Controversial Nigerian actress Lizzy Anjorin has broken her silence over reports of her alleged arrest for defamation of character.
New Daily Prime reports that Anjorin was rumoured to have been arrested a few days ago following an alleged petition filed by Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa.

The claim was first made public by popular Nigerian influencer and Iyabo Ojo’s associate, Esabod, who announced the development in a post shared on her Instagram page.
“Lizzy Anjorin has been arrested by ??? and has been remanded in Alagbon Police Station in Lagos. Lizzy’s bail condition will be reviewed from Monday for defamation of character,” Esabod wrote.
Reacting to the viral report, Lizzy Anjorin appeared to dismiss the claim. In a brief post on her Instagram page on Sunday evening, the actress wrote, “Believe Esabod and Iyabo Ojo at your own risk.”
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation from the police regarding the alleged arrest.
