Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has expressed deep gratitude after fellow actress Opeyemi Aiyeola forgave him over past mistakes.
Earlier this month, Azeez had publicly apologised to Aiyeola, admitting that his actions caused her pain and acknowledging his wrongdoing.
Taking to Instagram to share the update, the actor described Aiyeola’s forgiveness as his greatest gift of 2025, thanking fans, friends, and colleagues who intervened and pleaded on his behalf.

He also appreciated senior figures in the industry who reached out to help reconcile the situation.
Overflowing with emotion, Azeez praised Aiyeola, referring to her as his sister, mother, boss, mentor, cheerleader, and number one fan.
“My sister has forgiven her boy ooooo. This is my best gift of 2025,” he wrote.
He further thanked those who supported him during the process, praying that their kindness would never bring them regret.
Addressing Aiyeola directly, Azeez said her forgiveness meant everything to him, describing her as a true mother figure and admitting that he had learnt his lessons the hard way.
“I am truly sorry and sincerely remorseful for my actions,” he added.
The actor concluded by urging fans to visit Aiyeola’s page and offer prayers for her, acknowledging that the reconciliation was made possible through collective support and goodwill.
