Former Nigerian dancehall star, Cynthia Morgan, who recently announced a name change to Madrina, has responded to fans urging her to sort out her squabbles with Burna Boy and reconnect with the Grammy Award-winning artiste.
However, in an Instagram story, Madrina disclosed that she has no plans to reach out to the Odogwu singer, citing unresolved issues from the past.
Madrina revealed that their relationship soured in 2016 when she refused to believe Burna Boy’s denial of impregnating Uju Stella, a claim he later admitted online eight years later.
“For those of you sending me messages to reach out to Burna Boy, I wouldn’t. If it was me, I would reach out, but he is probably still mad I didn’t believe he didn’t impregnate Uju Stella in 2016. That’s what most men do. They lie and get mad when you don’t believe them,” she wrote.
The singer explained that she holds no ill will toward Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, and wished him well.
“Something he finally admitted to online eight years later. Y’all leave me alone. All the best, Damini,” she added.
Madrina’s revelation has sparked discussions among fans on social media, with many recalling the drama surrounding Uju Stella’s pregnancy claims in 2016.
