The Nigerian award-winning artist David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has revealed that he is the most bashed artist in Nigerian music history.
Davido made this revelation during a recent interview at “The Breakfast Club” show, stating that the orientation known as “OT”, taught by his mother, changed his thinking ability to adapt to life challenges.
Davido also disclosed how he had helped young artists in his label to manoeuvre online trolls, as he constantly tells them to stop reading their comment sessions to avoid negative thoughts.
He said, “Even the new artist, I have a label, so I have artists, and sometimes I see them operating their phones; I would be like What are you doing? I would say stop reading; these comments will finish you.

“I think in the history of Nigerian music,” Davido noted. “I have been the most bashed and disrespected for what I have done.
“I got OT; there is something we call OTs, i.e., orientations. My mum met my dad rich. She gave me and my sister’s, and I still have that orientation.”
“That is why when I was going to school, although I went to the most expensive high school in Nigeria, after school I went to the hood to be with my cousins. I feel like the OT has helped me to find a middle ground.
