Popular Nigerian rapper, Panshak Zamani, widely known as Ice Prince, has opened up about some of the regrets he carries from his past.
In a recent interview, the artist spoke honestly about choices he wishes he could undo, especially when it comes to his relationships with women.
Ice Prince appeared as a guest on a new episode of the Konnected Minds podcast. The conversation took a reflective turn when the host asked a direct question:
“What is one thing you’ve done in your career that you wish you could change?”
The rapper didn’t hold back.
“I broke a few hearts I regret”
In response, Ice Prince revealed that many of his regrets involve his personal life, not his music career.
“Maybe decisions with women,” he said.
“I have broken a few hearts that I regret. I have messed up in some relationships that I wish I could turn back the hands of time.”
He admitted that some of his actions in the past hurt people he truly cared about. Looking back, he sees them as missed chances for something better.
“I have lost some very amazing angels due to some stupid stuff,” he added.
“Stuff I could probably have avoided, girls I shouldn’t have said ‘hi’ to or followed back on social media.”
The artist described these as small but costly mistakes, moments that may have seemed harmless at the time but later led to pain and regret.
“I try to learn from every mistake”
Despite the emotional weight of these regrets, Ice Prince shared that he’s trying to grow from his past. He believes that every setback can be a lesson, even if the learning process is difficult.
“Everything happens for a reason,” he said.
“Sometimes, in life, you just have to learn from your mistakes and not repeat them.”
The rapper emphasised that he tries to take responsibility for his choices. Rather than hiding from his errors, he aims to reflect on them and use those lessons to become a better person.

“As for me, I have tried to learn from every mistake I have made,” he said.
“I have made a lot of mistakes, especially regarding women. But as you grow older, you just learn to live with the regrets.”
A different kind of fame
Known for his chart-topping hits and smooth delivery, Ice Prince has long been one of the most recognisable faces in the Nigerian music scene. However, his recent comments show a more personal side to the rapper, one that fans may not often see in public.
The artist, who once dominated radio waves with tracks like Oleku and Aboki, is now also using his platform to speak about personal growth, maturity, and the consequences of youthful decisions.
His honesty struck a chord with listeners and sparked conversation online. Many fans praised him for being vulnerable, calling his words a refreshing change from the usual celebrity image.
Learning to let go
Ice Prince’s reflection offers a reminder that success doesn’t make someone immune to regret. Even in the spotlight, mistakes happen. And sometimes, the ones that stay with us the longest aren’t about business deals or missed shows, they’re about people.
In his case, it’s the women he hurt along the way. The connections that could have lasted. The love that might have grown but didn’t.
Still, the rapper isn’t dwelling on the past. He seems to be facing it head-on, accepting the pain, and trying to grow from it.
“You just learn to live with the regrets,” he said again, closing the chapter with a quiet sense of acceptance.
