Popular social media influencer Peller has opened up about his impressive earnings on TikTok, revealing that he makes an average of N20 million every week.
During an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka, Peller shared insights into how his TikTok live sessions have become his primary source of income. He dismissed rumours that he makes as much as N200 million, clarifying that the figures circulating online are exaggerated.
Strategy shift led to success
Peller credited his financial success on TikTok to a shift in strategy. Instead of focusing solely on regular content, he began prioritizing live sessions. This move, he said, significantly boosted his earnings and strengthened his connection with his audience.
The influencer explained that engagement plays a crucial role in his revenue. By interacting with viewers in real-time, he encourages more participation, which translates into higher earnings. He noted that fans send him gifts and virtual donations, which TikTok later monetizes.
Big payouts from live sessions
The content creator revealed that he makes substantial amounts from live streaming. In one instance, he earned $10,000 from a single session. On average, he streams three times a week, making around $3,000 per 30-minute session.
“I could have a live session, talk for a while, and by the end, I might have $3,000 for just 30 minutes,” Peller said. “I don’t go live every day because I don’t want people to see my face too often. I only do it three times a week. One time, I made $10,000 in a single session, which surprised me. I had seen $7,000 or $8,000 before, but $10,000 was a shock. TikTok takes a percentage, but on average, I still make N20 million a week.”
