Social media influencer, Toke Makinwa has disclosed her openness to becoming a second, third, 4th, or even fifth wife.
The popular host made the disclosure on a recent episode of her podcast Toke Moments, where she shared thoughts on love, marriage, and life at 40.
“At this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to marry again, as a second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it,” she said, suggesting a shift in her views on traditional marriage dynamics.
This statement follows her earlier reflections on being single and childless at 40.
In a previous episode, Makinwa admitted that while she once considered remarrying, she believes she would have ended up divorced again, emphasizing that the lessons in life and love never truly end.
Despite societal pressures, the outspoken media personality said she doesn’t allow herself to wallow in self-pity. Instead, she chooses to focus on her achievements and the love that surrounds her.
PERSONAL LIFE
Makinwa lost both of her parents in a gas explosion when she was 8 years old. On 15 January 2014, she married Maje Ayida, whom she had been involved with for eight years prior to their wedding. In 2015, she separated from Ayida after finding out that he had gotten his ex-girlfriend pregnant.
