Popular Nigerian street pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable or Zazu, recently met Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election.
In a viral video seen by The News Daily Prime on social media, Obi and Portable briefly met at the airport in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, and exchanged pleasantries.
The “Brotherhood” hitmaker expressed disappointment in a video released after his meeting with the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi. The controversial artist mentioned that if President Bola Tinubu had met him, he would have offered him money.
Obi was in Benin to campaign for the Labour Party’s Edo State gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, while Portable was in the city for a performance.
Translating his words shortly after greeting Obi, Zazu said: “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
