It was the end of January 2023, and I was in desperate need of a phone charger. I popped into a nearby tailoring shop, hoping to find a plug to revive my dying battery. Little did I know, that chance visit would change my life forever.
As I waited for my phone to charge, I noticed a handsome young man chatting with the tailor. I later learned that he was the tailor’s cousin and had stopped by to catch up. We exchanged pleasantries, and before I knew it, we were deep in conversation.
As we talked, I discovered that we shared so many common interests and values. The hours flew by, and before I knew it, the sun was setting. As we parted ways, he asked for my number, and I happily obliged.
A few days later, he asked me out on a date, and I eagerly accepted. Our first date was on February 14th, 2023 – Valentine’s Day. It was a magical evening, filled with laughter, good food, and great company.
Fast forward to today, and I’m thrilled to say that this year, February 14th marks our anniversary. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
My boo has been an absolute rock, supporting me through thick and thin. He’s caring, loving, kind, understanding, handsome, hardworking, and loyal. He makes me feel seen, heard and loved in ways I never thought possible.
As I look back on our journey, I’m filled with gratitude and love. I’m so thankful to have met him that day in the tailoring shop. He’s the love of my life, and I promise to cherish, support, and adore him for all the days of my life.
