The family of late Nollywood actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola has announced her burial arrangements, exactly one week after her sudden passing.
In a statement that has since gone viral online, the family disclosed that Ademola will be laid to rest on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos State.
According to the burial program, a service of songs, candlelight procession, and artistes’ night will take place a day earlier, on Thursday, January 8, at LTV8, from 4pm to 11pm.

Her death came as a rude shock to her family, colleagues, and fans across the country. Since the news broke, several Nollywood stars, including Iyabo Ojo, Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Biola Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, and Toyin Abraham, have taken to social media to mourn her and pay tribute to her contributions to the Yoruba film industry.
Allwell Ademola was widely respected for her talent as an actress, producer, and director, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate within Nollywood.
