Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced that she has accepted the apology tendered by the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor.
Ogala made this known on Sunday via her Facebook page, shortly after sharing a video of the clergyman publicly asking for forgiveness before members of his church.
“Pastor Chris please don’t kneel. This was all I wanted. Apology accepted,” the actress wrote.

New Daily Prime reports that in the video shared earlier by Ogala, Pastor Okafor was seen kneeling before his congregation as he expressed remorse over what he described as past mistakes.
The development follows weeks of public controversy after Doris Ogala accused the pastor of dumping her for another woman despite allegedly promising her marriage.
While addressing the issue, Pastor Okafor maintained that many of the allegations made against him were not true. However, he said he felt compelled to apologise to anyone whose feelings his actions might have hurt.
“I am not joining issues,” he said, referring specifically to Doris Ogala. “Mistakes have been made in the past, and I tender my apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are so many lies in most of the things that were said.”
Despite disputing aspects of the claims, the cleric reiterated his willingness to make amends and offer restitution where necessary.
“To Doris Ogala, I will apologize, and I also apologize to everyone. I am ready to make a restitution to anyone and anybody, any lady, anywhere I’ve offended,” he stated.
He further appealed to the public and his congregation for forgiveness and prayers, describing the moment as a step toward reconciliation.
“I’m kneeling down before everyone and before the church. Forgive me. You can judge me. Pray for me,” Pastor Okafor added.
