Media personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, has publicly backed Nigerian music star Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) in the ongoing controversy surrounding an X (formerly Twitter) user, @chubbiedivah, who accused the singer of rape and domestic abuse.
The incident sparked outrage after @chubbiedivah alleged that Rudeboy raped his house-help and sent his wife and sister-in-law out of his home, accusations Rudeboy has vehemently denied and vowed to challenge legally.
In a strongly worded post on social media, Do2dtun urged Rudeboy not to ignore the allegations, stressing that such damaging claims must not go unpunished.
“Listen @rudeboypsquare, if you leave that girl @chubbiedivah girl, we go fight. I am looking for a scapegoat too & I mean it. The damage is unbelievable. It’s hard to defend things you know are not true about your personal life, especially when some dimwits say it with such audacity with no proof,” Do2dtun wrote.
The OAP further revealed that he had personally endured similar smear campaigns in the past and warned that unchecked online defamation could embolden others to target more public figures.

“I have gone through these for years, but one day will be one day. No one has the monopoly of madness,” he added.
Rudeboy, who is one-half of the iconic P-Square duo, has also broken his silence on the matter, promising to use every resource available to ensure that the accuser faces legal consequences.
“I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah, if you like, go private, leave X!! I will find you. I will use every necessary means, power, resource, and money. You will face the law. I will use you as an example (scapegoat),” he warned.
The singer added that the only way the user could escape accountability was to “leave the surface of this Earth and relocate to space,” underscoring his determination to pursue the case.
The allegations and Rudeboy’s fiery response have fuelled discussions on social media, with many users weighing in on the balance between free speech and accountability online.
While some praised Rudeboy and Do2dtun for standing their ground, others urged caution, warning that public spats could escalate tensions and give trolls more visibility.
This incident is the latest in a string of cases where Nigerian celebrities have publicly confronted social media users for spreading damaging allegations.
Legal experts have noted that more public figures are turning to the courts to combat online defamation under Nigeria’s Cybercrimes Act and defamation laws.

For Rudeboy and Do2dtun, however, the issue appears to go beyond legal redress; it is about setting a precedent that false allegations have real-world consequences.
As of press time, @chubbiedivah has not publicly responded to either Rudeboy’s legal threat or Do2dtun’s comments.
