Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently celebrated the first birthday of his twin children.
The New Daily Prime recalls that the award-winning Afrobeat artist and his wife, Chioma Rowland, welcomed their twins in the United States on Tuesday, October 9, 2023.
On Wednesday, Davido shared a heartfelt tribute on his verified X account, expressing gratitude for their lives.
He posted a photo adorned with two baby face emojis and wrote, “+1 Alhamdulillah.”
Fans of the music star took to various social media platforms to share birthday wishes and prayers for the twins.
A few months ago, the Timeless hitmaker expressed his joy at being a father of twins, calling it the “best feeling ever.”
In an interview with Billboard, Davido addressed people’s concerns about raising twins with his wife. Contrary to expectations, he shared that the experience has been quite the opposite, noting that the twins rarely cry and are growing quickly.
“I remember when they came, everybody was calling like, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But, my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry.
“They’re just calm and they’re just growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything really,” he said.
