Several Nigerian Afrobeats superstars have earned nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards, further cementing the country’s place as a powerhouse in global music.
The nomination list, released on Friday evening, showcases the immense impact of Nigerian artists on the world stage, particularly in the fast-growing Afrobeats genre.
In the Best African Music Performance category, Davido and Omah Lay received a nomination for their heartfelt collaboration “With You.”

Other nominees include “Hope & Love” by Ugandan star Eddy Kenzo and Iranian artist Mehran Matin, as well as South Africa’s Tyla with her single “PUSH 2 START.”
