Adeyemi Kafayat, the estranged wife of Fuji singer Shanko Rasheed, has regained custody of her two children following a recent dispute.
Kafayat had earlier raised alarm during an interview on the Talk to B podcast, where she accused the singer of forcefully taking the children away from her after the death of their first child, Jamal, who reportedly passed away three weeks ago.

She also alleged domestic abuse and claimed she had been abandoned with three children, a situation she said contributed to the circumstances surrounding Jamal’s death. Kafayat further appealed to the public and relevant authorities to help her regain custody of the remaining children.
In a new development, actress and podcast host Biola Adebayo announced via Instagram that Kafayat has now been reunited with her children.
According to Adebayo, the outcome was made possible through the intervention of concerned Nigerians and the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency.
Sharing a photo of the reunion, she wrote, “Shanko’s wife has finally taken custody of her two children after the loss of her first child. Victory at last.”
The development marks a significant turn in the ongoing family dispute, bringing relief to Kafayat following her public outcry.
