Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has sparked debate online after questioning Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for missing singer Davido’s recent wedding celebration in Miami, Florida.
Cubana Chief Priest, known as the “Celebrity Barman,” had earlier told fans he could not attend the high-profile event because his US visa application was denied. The businessman expressed disappointment over missing the ceremony, which attracted prominent figures from the entertainment industry.
However, in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Klintoncod suggested the story might not be entirely accurate. He pointed out that Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW, who has often joked publicly about his limited English proficiency, successfully travelled to Miami for the wedding.
“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha,” Klintoncod wrote. “Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get. Baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha.”

Klintoncod’s comments quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions. Some users found his observation humorous and agreed with his scepticism, while others accused him of making baseless assumptions.
In defence of Cubana Chief Priest, one social media user reminded the comedian that the socialite had previously spoken about being denied a US visa before he became famous. According to the user, Chief Priest once explained that his earlier application handled through an agent was rejected, and this might have influenced the latest outcome.
But Klintoncod appeared unmoved by the explanation. Replying to the post, he wrote: “Dead talk still!!” a phrase implying that he was dismissing the defence outright.
Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, has not yet responded directly to Klintoncod’s remarks. The businessman is known for his lavish lifestyle, high-profile friendships, and involvement in entertainment and hospitality. He has also faced speculation and rumours in the past regarding his travel history and public statements.
Davido’s wedding in Miami was one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year, drawing attention not only for its star-studded guest list but also for the elaborate displays of wealth and glamour. The absence of Cubana Chief Priest, a close friend and regular associate of Davido, was notable enough to spark curiosity among fans.
Klintoncod, meanwhile, has built a reputation for his comedic takes on trending news and celebrity matters.
His recent jab at Chief Priest is the latest example of his willingness to poke fun at public figures while stirring conversations on social media.
Whether the Celebrity Barman will address the renewed doubts or ignore them remains to be seen. For now, Klintoncod’s post continues to circulate, keeping the visa denial story firmly in the spotlight.
