According to Queen Mercy, the thought of going through childbirth used to terrify her so much that she once believed she never wanted to have children. However, she said life eventually changed her outlook, and she now feels grateful for the experience of becoming a mother.
“Motherhood has been such an incredible journey. Funny enough, years ago, I used to say I never wanted to give birth because I was so scared. Now, when I think about it, I just laugh at myself. Life really has a way of changing your mind,” she wrote.
The former reality star noted that motherhood has had a profound impact on her life, making her more determined and focused on building a better future for her child.
She explained that the responsibility of raising a child has strengthened her resilience and motivated her to work harder to create opportunities that her child will be proud of.
“Today, all I want is to be the best mother I can be. Motherhood has made me more focused, more resilient, and more motivated to work hard and build a future my kids will be proud of,” she said.
Queen Mercy also acknowledged that motherhood can be challenging, especially on days when she feels exhausted or overwhelmed. Despite those moments, she said the love she feels for her child makes the experience worthwhile.
“Even on the days when I’m tired and running on little sleep, the love makes it all worth it. Thank you, God, for this beautiful experience. I’m forever grateful,” she added.
She concluded her message by celebrating mothers around the world and offering prayers for strength and wisdom as they continue raising their children.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers around the world. Take your flowers mommies, you deserve them and so much more,” she wrote.
“May God continue to bless us with wisdom, strength, patience, because we definitely need it — and the grace to keep being the amazing mothers our children need.”
