Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has suffered a major setback, as two shows on his ongoing No Sign of Weakness U.S. tour were abruptly cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
The cancellation, which affected Thursday night’s concert scheduled for November 28, 2025, at The Armory in Minneapolis, was announced by Ticketmaster just hours before the event. Another show slated for December 1, 2025, in Chicago was also cancelled.

Although the organisers did not give a detailed explanation for the sudden development, the move comes at a time when Burna Boy has been facing heavy criticism online following a controversial incident during a recent performance in Colorado.
A viral video showed the singer walking out a woman who had fallen asleep during his set. The clip generated widespread backlash, especially after Burna Boy responded on Instagram Live, saying he “only wants supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.” Many social media users described his response as insensitive.
The situation escalated further when reports emerged that the woman who slept during the performance was grieving a recent personal loss, prompting renewed condemnation of the singer’s comments and attitude on stage.
In the early hours of Friday, Burna Boy acknowledged the cancellations by reposting a direct link from the official ticketing platform on his Instagram story, confirming that both shows had been scrapped.
The ‘Last Last’ crooner has not issued an official statement addressing the cancellations or the speculation surrounding the low ticket turnout.
The No Sign of Weakness tour continues to face uncertainty, with fans and industry observers watching closely to see how these developments may affect the remaining concerts and the overall success of the tour.
