Popular Nigerian crossdresser and social media influencer, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, better known as Bobrisky, has taken a swipe at men living in the United Kingdom, describing them as financially unattractive.
In a recent post on his Instagram story, the self-acclaimed Afolashade Amope, said UK men do not meet his standards when it comes to lifestyle and spending power.
According to him, they are “too broke” and often live below the kind of luxury he expects from potential suitors.
“UK men are too broke. Avoid them,” he wrote. “They share apartments. They share bills among themselves. Ewwww.”

Bobrisky’s comments sparked immediate reactions online. He expressed his disappointment in the way most men in the UK manage their finances, especially those who live together and split household expenses. For Bobrisky, such a lifestyle is a turn-off and far from impressive.
He went further to state what he expects from any man who wants to approach him. He said they must come “correct”, meaning they must appear wealthy, stylish, and confident. According to him, a man must wear top designer brands and luxury accessories to get his attention.
“Before any UK guy can approach me, please come correct. The least wristwatch I want to see you wear is a Presidential Rolex, and a pair of designer slippers,” he said.
Bobrisky added that if he can afford to wear a Rolex and high-end fashion pieces, then men, who he believes should lead in financial status, should be able to do even more.
“If me, as a girl, can rock a Presidential Rolex, why can’t you?” he questioned.
The post triggered both support and criticism. Some fans praised Bobrisky for being honest about his standards, while others accused him of being materialistic and out of touch with reality.
Critics pointed out that sharing bills and apartments is normal in expensive cities like London and does not make anyone poor. However, Bobrisky, known for his love of luxury and bold opinions, appeared unfazed.
Once again, he stirred debate and reminded the public why he remains one of Nigeria’s most talked-about internet personalities.
