Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, widely known as BNXN, has opened up about his difficulties finding genuine love in Lagos.

BNXN, famous for hit songs such as Finesse, Gwagwalada, and Traboski, took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to express how hard it has been to build meaningful romantic connections in Nigeria’s busiest city.

In a short message that quickly went viral, he wrote, “To find love for Eko too hard for me o.”
BNXN has managed to keep his personal life private over the past few years. However, he was previously involved in a controversial relationship with his alleged Swedish ex-girlfriend, Filma Jones, in 2022.
The relationship made headlines after Jones publicly accused the singer of impregnating and abandoning her. She also released private photos to prove they had been romantically involved.
The scandal shocked many of his fans. At the time, BNXN admitted that he was heartbroken, saying the leak of his private images marked the first time he felt truly hurt in a relationship.
