Nigerian rapper and songwriter Blaqbonez has broken his silence following allegations of harassment, emotional abuse, and cyberstalking made against him by a woman who claimed she rejected his romantic advances.
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, recently filed a formal petition to the Nigeria Police Force through her legal representatives, Bristol & Mortglass CS.
In the petition, she accused the rapper of subjecting her to months of harassment, invasion of privacy, and bullying, as well as allegedly circulating private videos without her consent.

According to the complaint, Jane Doe said the alleged abuse began after she turned down Blaqbonez’s advances, claiming that the rapper began using his social media influence to “embarrass and intimidate” her publicly.
She also alleged that his associates contributed to an online campaign of ridicule and emotional distress targeted at her.
However, in a detailed response shared via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Blaqbonez strongly denied the allegations, describing them as “baseless and malicious fabrications” designed to tarnish his reputation.
The “Back in Uni” crooner insisted that he is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities to ensure the truth is established.
He also claimed that the allegations were being sponsored by his rivals in the music industry, who were attempting to weaponize a personal relationship from his past to discredit him publicly.
“At the heart of these stories lies a personal relationship from my past, one that ended respectfully without conflict,” he wrote. “That private chapter now becomes entangled with professional rivalries in the music industry. A personal matter between two adults has been pulled into a broader feud, reshaped, and used as ammunition to discredit me publicly.”
Blaqbonez acknowledged that he had been romantically involved with the woman in question but maintained that the relationship ended amicably.
He denied any form of coercion, abuse, or privacy violation, stressing that he has always upheld respect and consent in all his personal dealings.
The Chocolate City artist went on to urge his fans and the general public to allow the police investigation to take its course, saying he believes the truth will eventually prevail. “I am cooperating fully with the authorities to see that the truth is established,” he added.
Meanwhile, reactions to the case have been mixed on social media. While some fans have expressed support for the rapper, others have called for a transparent and thorough investigation, urging the police to ensure that justice is served without bias.
As of the time of this report, neither the Nigeria Police Force nor Jane Doe’s legal representatives have issued further public statements regarding the ongoing case.
The controversy marks one of the most serious public challenges in Blaqbonez’s career, coming at a time when he has continued to gain recognition as one of Nigeria’s leading voices in contemporary hip-hop and Afrobeats.
