Nollywood actress Bimbo Oshin has penned a moving tribute to her late husband, Ola Ibironke, popularly known as Dudu Heritage, as she marked the fourth anniversary of his passing.
In an emotional Instagram post shared with fans and colleagues on Thursday, the actress reflected on the profound loss she and her family have endured since his sudden death in 2021.
Bimbo described the pain of his absence as “unfilled,” adding that not a day goes by without them longing for his presence.
“My husband, exactly this time four years ago you left us, but the pain of your absence remains as raw as ever,” she wrote.
“Our children miss their father, their guiding light, and their hero. I miss our laughter, our conversations, and our life together. Your absence has left an unfillable void in our lives, but we’re trying to navigate this new reality together.”
Bimbo shared that their two children, Michael and Iyanuoluwa, have been growing stronger with each passing year, but they still deeply miss their father’s love, guidance, and support. She described Dudu Heritage as the anchor of their family and the man who brought joy and laughter into their home.
“The children grow stronger each day,” she continued. “Your love, guidance, and presence would mean the world to us right now. Though you’re gone, your memory lives on in our hearts. May God forgive you all your sins and continue to rest your precious soul, Oko mi. We love and miss you more than words can say.”
Fondly calling him “Capo”, a nickname he was widely known by, Bimbo reaffirmed her enduring love for him and promised to keep his memory alive. “Your legacy lives on. We love you till eternity, Dudu Heritage!” she concluded.
