Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ivatar, has opened up about her time in the house, alleging that some of her fellow contestants deliberately tried to sabotage her progress.
Ivatar, who was evicted on Sunday alongside Doris and Big Soso, made the claims during an interview with Classic FM on Tuesday. She said she believed other housemates saw her as a strong competitor and plotted to dim her shine.
“People were trying to dim my light, and I saw myself as a threat,” she said. “Regardless of what they say, whether it’s no or yes, you weren’t doing enough work, I will still give myself a pat on the back for that.”
Speaking further, Ivatar suggested that her eviction was influenced not just by viewer votes but also by the strategies of her colleagues inside the house.
She explained that in the highly competitive environment of Big Brother Naija, perceptions of strength and popularity can quickly turn into reasons for isolation or subtle plotting.
“When people see you doing well, sometimes they don’t want you to shine too much,” she explained. “I knew it was part of the game, but it still hurt to see people I called friends trying to bring me down.”
Despite the challenges, Ivatar maintained that she stayed authentic during her time on the show. She insisted that she had no regrets about how she played the game.
“I can proudly say I was myself all through. I didn’t try to be somebody else just to win favor. I was real, and I think that’s why I became a target,” she said.

She also expressed gratitude to her fans, noting that their support gave her strength during difficult times in the house. “The love I’ve seen since I came out is overwhelming. It shows me that people really connected with me, and for that I’m grateful,” Ivatar added.
Looking ahead, the evicted housemate revealed that she plans to use the platform Big Brother Naija has given her to explore new opportunities in entertainment and business. She hinted at future projects but stopped short of giving specifics, promising her fans that she will not disappear from the spotlight.
“Big Brother was a stepping stone for me. It opened doors, and now it’s time to walk through them,” she said confidently.
Ivatar’s eviction adds to the drama of what has already been a tense and unpredictable season. With alliances shifting and strategies intensifying, her claim that housemates tried to sabotage her underscores the high-stakes atmosphere inside the house.
While some fans sympathise with her, others believe her eviction was simply the result of low votes. Still, her comments have sparked fresh debates on social media about whether certain housemates are deliberately working together to push out perceived threats.
As the game continues, attention now turns to the remaining contestants battling for the coveted grand prize. For Ivatar, however, her journey in the house may be over, but her story is just beginning.
