Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Big Soso, has opened up about her unexpected exit from the reality show, describing the experience as both shocking and emotional.
Big Soso, who became the first of three housemates evicted on Sunday night, revealed that she had been so confident of surviving eviction that she didn’t even pack her bags. Instead, she left the house wearing the same clothes she wore on the first day she entered the competition.
“I was shocked when my name was mentioned,” she said during an interview with Naija FM, Lagos. “Na cloth wey I use enter na him I use comot. I didn’t expect it. When others were dressing, I was busy cleaning the house to make sure everywhere was okay.”
The outspoken housemate admitted that she underestimated the eviction process, believing that she had done enough to remain in the game for at least another week.
“I felt safe. I thought my fans would keep me in the house,” she confessed. “I was just focused on doing my chores, not even thinking about leaving.”
Her exit came as a surprise not only to her but also to many viewers who had seen her as a strong contender. Social media was flooded with reactions from fans who expressed disappointment and claimed that she deserved to stay longer.
Despite the shock, Big Soso maintained a positive outlook, describing her six-week stay in the house as an achievement she will always cherish.

“I’m grateful for the weeks I spent there. For me, it was a remarkable feat,” she said. “Not everyone gets the chance to be part of Big Brother Naija. I had my moment, and I’m proud of that.”
She thanked her supporters and encouraged them to keep following her journey outside the house as she plans to explore opportunities in entertainment and brand influencing.
Sunday’s eviction show was one of the most dramatic of the season, as three housemates were sent packing in a single night. Following Big Soso’s exit, Ivatar and Doris were also evicted, leaving viewers emotional and shaking up the dynamics in the house.
With fewer housemates left in the competition, tensions are expected to rise as alliances are tested and strategies intensify in the coming weeks.
For Big Soso, however, the game may be over, but she says her journey is just beginning. “Big Brother gave me a platform. Now it’s time to use it,” she said confidently.
