Popular Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has called out United Nigeria Airlines over the repeated cancellation of her flight, accusing the airline of leaving her stranded and disrupting her livelihood.
The actress explained that she travelled to Ekiti State for work and was scheduled to return to Lagos State on Wednesday for another film production.
However, her flight was allegedly cancelled twice within two days without prior communication from the airline.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday morning, Ogunmola expressed deep frustration, stating that the situation had forced her to incur extra expenses and miss professional commitments.
She also threatened legal action, saying her lawyer would take up the matter.
“I was supposed to fly yesterday. I got to the airport and they said something happened and the flight was delayed. I waited for hours, and later they said they had cancelled the flight,” she said.
According to the actress, when she asked about alternative arrangements, she was told there was nothing the airline could do. She also attempted to fly from Akure without success.
Ogunmola further revealed that she was informed the next available flight would depart at 8am the following day, forcing her to pay for accommodation and other bills. However, upon arriving at the airport early in the morning, she was told the flight time had been shifted multiple times, from 9:30am to 12pm, and later to 5:30pm.
“This is very painful because you could have just sent a message. I’m working today, my crew and production are already on set as we speak,” she lamented.
Visibly emotional, the actress said she was forced to consider travelling by road, which she described as unsafe, after being left stranded in a state where she knows no one.
“I’m doing this video to have evidence of what just happened to me. It’s not just my time they are toying with, it’s my source of livelihood. My lawyer will take this up,” Ogunmola said tearfully, accusing the airline of being unfair and lacking empathy.
New Daily Prime reports that the incident comes barely a month after the commencement of commercial flight operations in Ekiti State.
