Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has disclosed that his first son, Nino, has no intention of following in his musical footsteps.
Despite being a talented saxophonist, the teenager has set his sights on an entirely different career path.
2Baba made the revelation during an event in Abuja, where he celebrated his 25 years in the music industry. While introducing Nino to the audience on stage, the African Queen crooner shared that his son dreams of becoming a medical doctor.

“Make some noise for my son, Nino,” he said proudly as the crowd cheered.
“He said he doesn’t want to be a singer. He wants to be a doctor.”
Nino, born on January 15, 2006, to 2Baba and his former partner, Sumbo Adeoye, is not only skilled with the saxophone but also works as a model and social media influencer.
Children following their parents’ legacy is common in the Nigerian entertainment industry, with several artistes’ children already charting their own paths.
Recently, Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, launched his music career at age 14 with his debut EP Champions’ Arrival under the stage name Champz.
However, Nino Idibia appears determined to carve a unique journey for himself, one that leads into the medical field rather than the music spotlight.
