Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has appointed Dr Olubamise Moses as the new Provost of the State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Olayinka Oyebode, on Friday.
The governor said Olubamise’s selection followed a “rigorous and transparent selection process” conducted by the institution’s Governing Council.
His four-year tenure is scheduled to begin on October 2, succeeding Dr (Mrs.) C.O. Adebayo, whose term concludes on September 30.
Alongside Olubamise’s appointment, Oyebanji also appointed other key principal officers for the college, based on the recommendations of the Governing Council.
