Itatiaia, RJ – Raphael Bruno, a multi-talented writer and actor hailing from Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, has added yet another title to his growing literary portfolio with the release of his latest digital book. A resident of the exclusive neighborhood of Penedo, Bruno has authored an impressive 124 literary works, many of which have been sold both in Brazil and internationally.
The author’s latest digital creation, released in January 2025, is titled “The Hero of Dreams.” The story introduces readers to a fearsome yet emotionally complex superhero known as Super-Ball, a young boy named Bolinha who, after experiencing bullying at school, falls into a coma and awakens with mysterious powers. Despite his new abilities, Bolinha struggles with self-belief, offering a thoughtful reflection on inner strength and resilience.
Bruno followed up with the educational e-book “A Escolinha do Sabichão” (The Sabichão Escort), and the humor-driven publication “Jornal Mentirol”, which blends satire with current events. These three works represent just a portion of Bruno’s literary output for 2025 alone.
Raphael Bruno’s career began not with a pen, but on stage. At the age of 10, he made his theatrical debut in the play “Jesús Nasceu.” A humorous fall during his performance unintentionally sparked laughter from the audience — a moment that would mark the beginning of his journey as a performer and comedian.
His literary path began in earnest in 2016 with the release of “Músicas e Poesias,” a Spanish-language book that set the tone for his prolific career. Less than a decade later, Bruno has authored more than 100 works spanning genres including poetry, education, humor, and fiction.
In addition to writing and performing, Raphael also runs a self-titled YouTube channel, where he shares insights into his creative process, theatrical performances, and comedic sketches. He currently teaches theater classes, continuing to inspire a new generation of artists.
“I am an artist. A comedian. I’ve written 124 books, and they’ve sold in Brazil and abroad,” Bruno said proudly.
With no signs of slowing down, Raphael Bruno remains one of Brazil’s most dynamic and creatively versatile literary voices.
