The Lagos State Government has announced it will host its annual Job Fair on September 11, 2025, at the Blue Roof, Lagos State Television, Ikeja.
Organised by the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, the event, themed “Your Career, Your Way: Explore Endless Possibilities”, aims to connect thousands of young people with job and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The Job Fair has become a key initiative in the state’s efforts to address youth unemployment by bringing together job seekers, young professionals, and leading employers from various sectors.
The Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, stated that the event is a reflection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to job creation, talent development, and entrepreneurship, which are all part of his T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda.
This year’s fair will feature on-the-spot job interviews and recruitment by top companies, one-on-one career consultations, and a high-level panel discussion with business leaders.
Participants can also attend workshops on essential skills like résumé writing, interview coaching, and digital product creation.
Highlighting the success of previous fairs, the Commissioner noted that the 2024 edition attracted over 3,000 participants, many of whom secured employment.
This year’s fair is expected to build on that success by bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, and equipping young people with the skills and networks needed to succeed in the modern job market.
