Ms. Ajibola-Jimoh’s appointment comes at a time when Guinness Nigeria is experiencing one of its strongest stock market performances in years. The company’s share price has been on a sustained upward trajectory throughout 2025, reflecting renewed investor confidence and optimism in the consumer goods sector.
Guinness Nigeria began the year trading at N70.25, after recovering from a pullback to N49.60 in March 2024. The stock gained modestly in the first quarter, closing January at N77, before dipping slightly to N74 by the end of February. The second half of the year has been even more robust. In July, the stock jumped by 33%, followed by further growth in August, reaching N130. September was particularly remarkable, as the share price soared by more than 41% in a single month.
As of October 23, 2025, Guinness Nigeria’s shares were trading at N183.80, representing one of the most impressive rallies on the Nigerian Exchange this year.
The Board Chairman expressed confidence that Ms. Ajibola-Jimoh’s leadership would reinforce corporate governance and ensure continued operational excellence. “Her experience and professionalism will further strengthen our commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance,” the Chairman stated.
With strong financial momentum and a reinforced executive team, Guinness Nigeria appears well positioned for sustained growth as it moves into the final quarter of 2025.
