The Minister of Education, Olatunji Alausa, has pushed for the extension of the national service scheme, NYSC from one to two years. The minister stated this on Saturday when the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja. David Umahi, minister of works, says the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos is intended to prevent suicide attempts.
