The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) alleged that Governor Ademola Adeleke and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are deliberately misinterpreting a recent Supreme Court judgement to provoke unrest and violence across the state. The Federal High Court in Ado Ekiti on Friday adjourned until 8 December 2025 a suit seeking to nullify Dr Wole Oluyede’s emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election. The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted caretaker committees to manage party affairs in Lagos and Ekiti States, effectively dissolving the previous state executive committees in both chapters.
