The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a 13-count criminal charge against the Chairman of Honeywell Group, Chief Oba Otudeko, and a former Managing Director of First Bank, Olabisi Onasanya, for allegedly defrauding First Bank of N12.3 billion.   The arraignment of both individuals is scheduled for Monday, January 20, before Justice Chukwuejekwu Aneke at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The National Assembly has increased the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) revenue target for 2025 to N25 trillion after the agency surpassed its 2024 target of N19.4 trillion, as revealed by its Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced a record remittance of N10 trillion to the federation account for 2024.
