The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development (MYSD) has reaffirmed its commitment to strategic collaboration with various sectors to create an enabling environment for young people to maximize their potential. Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have expressed deep concern over the macroeconomic policies of the Federal Government (FG), which they say have worsened hardship across the nation.   In a communiqué issued in Asaba, the Delta State capital, after a meeting attended by 12 PDP governors, they called on the FG to urgently revisit and reform these policies to mitigate their adverse effects on Nigerians. Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a significant move to boost domestic gas utilization, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and its partners launched five mini-liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State.  This groundbreaking event held yesterday, marks the commencement of construction for the plants, which are designed to enhance Nigeria’s energy capacity and economic development.
