The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has assured Nigerians that the Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) does not currently pose a significant threat to the country.  The New Daily Prime earlier reported about the HMPV, the virus outbreaks which has raised global concerns in some regions. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has confirmed Sunday Udeh-Okoye as its National Secretary, following a recent Court of Appeal ruling.   In December, the Court of Appeal in Enugu nullified the appointment of Samuel Anyanwu and upheld Udeh-Okoye as the legitimate National Secretary of the party. The Nigerian Navy’s Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Igbokoda has dismantled nine illegal refinery sites and confiscated 20,000 litres of crude oil along with 15,000 litres of illegally refined diesel in the Obenla community, located in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
