The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has revealed that 800 former Boko Haram fighters who surrendered to the military are currently undergoing deradicalization as part of efforts to reintegrate them into society. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has highlighted progress in its fight against narcotic substance abuse, particularly with support from state governments.   Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘The Morning Brief’ on Monday, NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi revealed that states have adopted the agency’s advocacy, making drug tests mandatory for government appointees and employees. The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has stated that Nigeria does not need more universities.
