The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered an immediate investigation into the tragic boat mishap that occurred on November 29 along the Dambo-Ebuchi waterways of the River Niger in Kupa Local Government Area of Kogi State.  The incident involved over 160 passengers, with 24 rescued and many others still unaccounted for.
