An ex soldier has been jailed for three and a half years over a petrol bomb attack on a police station, endangering the life of a police officer. The defendant Jamie Taylor, 34, from Bo’ness confessed throwing three molotov cocktails (petrol bombs) at vans owned by police outside of the Livingston police station on May 30, 2025. A man has been jailed for over four years for infecting a woman with HIV. Luke Davis, 31, did not maintain his treatment for his ailment or disclose his HIV status to the woman. Davis, residing on George Street, Kidderminster, received his sentence on Monday at Hereford Crown Court following his October conviction for inflicting grievous bodily harm. Father jailed 35 years for attempting to kill infant daughter in Ceredigion

A father who attempted to kill his infant daughter has been imprisoned for 35 years. The assailant, Rhydian Lynne Rhys Jamieson, 28, inflicted severe injuries on his young daughter by throwing her at a TV and left the child uncared for beneath a duvet at a residence in Y Ferwig, Ceredigion. A 67 year old man has been sentenced to a minimum term of 16 years in prison for forcing a woman to have sex with more than hundred strangers for over 30 years. The assailant from Starston in Norfolk, Rodney Johnston, threatened the woman if she failed to meet his demands to engage in a range of sex acts with men in isolated countryside areas, as well as in cars and hotels, the court heard. A 45 year old man has been found guilty of attempting to rape a Scottish woman on an Easyjet flight. The Italian native, Nicola Cristiano, 45, moved seats to sit beside the woman — who for legal reasons cannot be named — during an overnight journey from Naples to Edinburgh on 13 May. A man serving a life sentence for throwing a six-year-old boy from the Tate Modern has received an additional sentence for assaulting two nurses at Broadmoor Hospital. The man Jonty Bravery, aged 24, kicked one of the nurses on the thigh and scratched the face of another, causing a facial injury that resulted in bleeding.
