Suspected bandits have kidnapped no fewer than 16 people in Bena village and surrounding areas in the Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. Confirming the incident on Thursday, the Secretary of the Security Committee in Wasagu, Lawali Umar said the bandits ambushed victims working on their guinea corn farms and took them hostage. A skydiver has died after accidentally walking into a plane propeller. Amanda Gallagher, 37, was taking pictures of other skydivers at Wichita Cook Airfield in Kansas on Saturday when she backed into the active propeller, according to US media reports.
