A lawyer and his niece have been rescued from kidnappers by operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command. According to a trending video, the victims were rescued when the operatives stormed an underground tunnel in a forest, where the victims were held hostage. The Police Command of Katsina State has announced that it has foiled two separate kidnap attempts in Jibia and Faskari local government areas of the state.
