The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that its operatives intercepted nine trucks loaded with smuggled rice in Ogun State. Disclosing the feat during a press briefing in Lagos on Monday, the Comptroller of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A, Kola Oladeji, disclosed that the operation was carried out by officers under the FOU Zone A, who successfully prevented the smugglers from bringing the goods into Nigeria from the Republic of Benin.
