A Nigerian national identified as Patrick Ngomere, has been arrested for alleged cyber fraud to the tune of ₹11.73 lakhs (equivalent to approximately $13,361 or N20,020,800 as at February 10, 2025) in India. According to a report by Millenium Post, Ngomere, arrested by Cyber Cell of Delhi Police was accused of hacking into the email of a pharmaceutical company and stealing Rs 11.73 lakhs.
