However, his death has not been formally confirmed by the family, but dependable sources, who confirmed that the liberal politician has passed on, described his demise as a great loss to the Nungurala people, Adamawa State, and Nigeria as a whole. An unexploded US bomb from World War II that had been buried at Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan exploded Wednesday, causing a large crater in a taxiway and the cancellation of more than 80 flights. The Federal Government has advised Nigerians residing in Lebanon to leave while commercial flights are still in operation. Making the call, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) said this has become necessary as Israel began an invasion of southern Lebanon after two weeks of attacks. Following the capsizing of a boat carrying over 200 persons in the Gbajibo community of Mokwa Local Government Area (LGA), Niger State, the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) has confirmed the death of 25 persons.
