The Federal Government has advised Nigerians residing in Lebanon to leave while commercial flights are still in operation. Making the call, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) said this has become necessary as Israel began an invasion of southern Lebanon after two weeks of attacks. Following the capsizing of a boat carrying over 200 persons in the Gbajibo community of Mokwa Local Government Area (LGA), Niger State, the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) has confirmed the death of 25 persons.
