A presidential candidate from the Podemos party in the October 9 elections in Mozambique, Paulo Guambe, has been assassinated. AFP reports that Guambe was killed alongside the lawyer for Mozambique’s leading opposition candidate, Venancio Mondlane, who ran for president in the October 9 elections. A drone has hit Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s holiday home in the country’s north, Al Jazeera has confirmed, triggering air raid sirens across Israel, including the main city of Tel Aviv.
