In order to allow for wider consultations and consensus building, the National Economic Council (NEC) has asked President Bola Tinubu to withdraw the Tax Reforms Bills from the National Assembly. About 10 people have reportedly lost their lives, while seven others sustained injuries when a building collapsed on Thursday morning in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. Electricity has been restored in four states under the Jos Electricity Distribution franchise – Plateau, Bauchi, Gombe, and Benue. The power was restored at approximately 7:20 pm. on Wednesday.
