Governor Buni used the occasion to urge all members of the APC in Yobe State to actively participate in the revalidation and registration process, emphasising the importance of proper documentation.
“Every member of the party should be registered or have his membership revalidated. No member should be disenfranchised,” he said.
“As the leading party in the state and in Nigeria, we should justify this numerical strength through documentation of our membership,” the governor advised.
In a related development, APC Yobe state Chairman Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka has called on party members across Yobe to fully engage in the ongoing e-membership registration and revalidation exercise.
He stressed that robust grassroots mobilisation and widespread awareness campaigns are essential to the success of the initiative.
Gadaka also appealed to residents of the state to turn out in large numbers for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise currently being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He described political participation as crucial to strengthening democracy in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
The chairman made these remarks during a meeting with members of the Yobe State House of Assembly at the Assembly Complex in Damaturu.
The session provided an opportunity to brief the lawmakers on the progress of the APC’s electronic membership registration and revalidation programme.

The Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chiroma Mashio, commended the APC leadership and Governor Buni for setting a strong example by personally participating in the new membership registration process.
Members of the assembly unanimously pledged their commitment to mobilise widespread support at the grassroots level to guarantee the success of the APC e-membership registration exercise.
