In a significant show of unity and strategic coordination, the Osun State APC Campaign Council, led by its Director-General, Hon. Oluwole Oke, held a high-level meeting with the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Ajibola Basiru, at his residence.
The gathering held on Sunday brought together key party leaders and stakeholders in Osun State, highlighting the importance of consultation, cohesion, and experienced direction as the Council ramps up preparations for the upcoming governorship election.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Oluwole Oke expressed deep appreciation to Sen. Basiru for hosting the meeting and for the confidence placed in the Council’s members.
He described the visit as both a mark of respect and a deliberate step to seek guidance, support, and prayers needed to deliver victory for the party.
“We are here to seek your guidance and blessings as we undertake this critical assignment. We are mindful of the responsibility placed on us and remain committed to delivering victory for our great party,” Hon. Oluwole Oke stated.
Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye commended Sen. Basiru for his outstanding leadership at the national level, which he said continues to bring pride and strength to the APC. He stressed the vital role of the National Secretary in providing strategic support for the Council’s success and called for sustained engagement throughout the campaign.
Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello also thanked Sen. Basiru for his consistent support and empowerment initiatives, offering prayers for his continued leadership and contributions to the party’s growth.

Reaffirming the Council’s trust in the National Secretary, Hon. Oluwole Oke highlighted Sen. Basiru’s vast experience and strategic influence, urging him to provide full backing in mobilising resources and structures for electoral victory.
In response, Sen. Ajibola Basiru engaged the Council in a frank and insightful discussion. He emphasised the need for unity of purpose, disciplined coordination, and strong grassroots mobilisation. He charged members to intensify efforts, deploy effective strategies, and prioritise community-based engagement.
Sen. Basiru urged all party stakeholders to set aside personal ambitions and unite behind the collective goal of securing victory for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
He described the forthcoming election as a shared responsibility and a defining moment for the party in Osun State.
The meeting ended with closing remarks and prayers led by Prince Femi Kujembola, who expressed confidence in a successful outcome at the polls.
